It might seem a little random to have recipes in this website but the truth is, cooking is an art form. And FYI, I do NOT mean baking. That requires strict measuring with no room for creativity or as my kids like to say, “a beautiful oops.”
When my babies were little and I had little time for art, cooking was my main creative outlet. So was blogging about cooking, and learning to style and photograph the food I made. Something to keep my brain ticking along during the monotonous days of baby nurturing.
Today I’m bored with being forced to cook ‘non-spicy’ meals every night that cater to the same tastebuds of all four people in my house but I certainly poured a lot of heart, soul and creativity into these recipes so I’m keeping them here in my creative hub.
Food is love. Food is tactile, delectable, and connects human beings, much like art and story. So maybe these pages still exist because that’s what I think I’m designed to do.
