This month the theme for our photography challenge is Perspective. Though I’m a little late sharing the photos, I actually took them on time. Not that I’m making excuses (I am), there has been a liiiiitle bit happening. My best friend arrived for a visit the day I found out we were pregnant with our second baby.

Michelle and I took our trip to the sea as planned but I experienced our girls weekend from a different perspective; from one of morning sickness and being the designated driver. These things sound negative but days were filled with a special type of love and connection we can only find in female friendships. My heart and eyes were full of gratitude for being able to spend a few lazy, quiet days with a soul mate who happens to live on the other side of the world.

Perhaps it’s just another reminder that life is all about how we choose to look at it.

  1. Lovely Dawn. Perspective is everything. Sometimes just stepping out of normal life for a moment is all that is needed to find a new perspective. Your photos are gorgeous!

  3. Just when I thought the world was comprised only of cell phones and social media, I look at this Perspective. Love the pics, you are an artist with an artist’s eye.
