art workshop

Holy Geeze Louise! June has whizzed past my face and it’s already July.

It’s been a cray-zay month as I’ve been in the USA visiting my family with my two year old. On my own. All that grandma spoilage is going to take like tripple the time to reboot my kid and her expectations.

It was an amazing time. I didn’t do too much blogging but I had some LOFTY creative goals and achieved all the things (well most of the things) I set out to do.

I hosted my very first Abstract Art workshops and by all accounts they were a success! And I even had some action in my Etsy store which was awesome and unexpected.

One painting was a custom piece for a dear, old friend of mine. He wanted a combo of two of my former pieces and was a champ about giving me creative freedom. We ended up having dinner and drinks and catching up on about ten years of life when I delivered the painting. It’s amazing how art can bring people together. The power of it amazes me.

He will probably kill me for sharing this but look at all the happy!

As a result I didn’t do a Makers Monthly Showcase for June- so let’s combine June and July why don’t we?

  1. Yay, you’re back, inspiring creativity. You should do a family art workshop sometime–that would be a blast!

  2. I love that idea- it’s something I’ve been toying with! Watch this space. 😉
